Congress serves another notice on Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy
Hyderabad: Telangana Congress Disciplinary Committee on Monday served second show cause notice on Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy as the body was not satisfied with the reply from Congress leader and instructed him to reply within 24 hours.
Reddy created political storm in the party by criticising All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and State party in-charge RC Khuntia and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N Uttam Kumar Reddy for not considering the senior leaders in the recently constituted election committees.
The disciplinary committee headed by Kodanda Reddy held a meeting for over two hours and decided to serve another notice.
The committee was not happy with the three-page explanation given by the congress leader in response to the first show cause notice served recently.
The committee felt the congress leader’s continuous disparaging comments against the top leaders brought bad repute to the party.
The party is likely to take a stern action against the leader soon after receiving explanation.
