Construction works of temporary building for Commissioner of Police reviewed
Malkajgiri: Rachakonda Commissioner of Police (CP) Mahesh Bhagavath, along with Police Housing Corporation chairman Damodhar, reviewed the ongoing construction works of temporary office for CP at Neredmet on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Damodhar said that the temporary building was estimated to cost Rs 7.75 crore and they were planning to build a permanent CP office in 56 acres of land at Medipally very soon. He said that all the police stations were being modernised and 400 new police vehicles would be added to the fleet. Police are playing key role in the development of the state, he said.
Telangana police stood first in India in terms of quality of services, thanks to the efforts of caretaker CM KCR, he commented. CP Mahesh Bhagavath provided information about various police buildings that are being constructed across the city. Among those participated include Rachakonda joint CP Sudheer Babu, DCP Malkajgiri Umamaheshwara Sharma, DCP crimes Nagaraju, Kushaiguda ACP, Neredmet inspector and other police officials.
