Konda Laxman Bapuji played a key role in bomb attack on Nizam: TJS
Amberpet: The 103rd birth anniversary of noted Telangana freedom fighter Konda Laxman Bapuji was celebrated here at Red Building Cross-Roads on Thursday. Amberpet constituency TJS party in charge Ruby Stevenson was the chief guest of the programme. As part of celebrations, Ruby garlanded the portrait of the leader and paid tributes to him. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Konda Bapuji fought against erstwhile Nizam government and razakars.
Remembering the role of the leader in both the Telangana movements, he said that the leader was first to resign from minister’s post for separate Telangana. He also played a key role in the bomb attack against Nizam. Among those participated in the programme include TJS leaders K Jahangir, Suryavanshi, P Rajesh, M Venkatesh, M Dayanand, G Bhanu Das, S Shiva, S Emanuel, K Govind, P Anji Goud, SK Ali, SK Rashid, MD Rauf and S Murthy.
