Blood donation camp organised

Secunderabad: As part of Defense Accounts Department Day celebrations, a voluntary blood donation camp was organised by Controller of Defense Accounts (CDA) on Friday. The camp was organised with the support of Indian Red Cross Society, Hyderabad to save the life of children suffering from Thalassemia disease. 

A total of 40 units of blood were collected by the staff of CDA during the camp. Earlier, the camp was inaugurated by T Rambabu, IDAS Controller, CDA, Secunderabad. He said that the effort by the CDA staff was highly appreciated and blood donation is the highest form of humanism.
