Caste system perpetuates social inequalities: Manda Krishna

Musheerabad:  Manda Krishna Madiga, founding member of MRPS, lamented that the inequalities in the society would increase even further if the caste lines were not eliminated. He was speaking during an inter-caste marriage of G Anuradha and Adavi Ramulu organised by CPI-M party at Sundaraiah Vignan Kendra on Friday. 

He urged the social activists to take up an agenda to eradicate caste system. Even after 70 years of independence, the nation still suffers from caste-based violence, he lamented. This is due to the lack of efforts from ruling parties to minimize social inequalities, he observed.
