Corporator Bobba Navatha Reddy visits Kanti Velugu centre

Serilingampally: Corporator Bobba Navatha Reddy visited Kanti Velugu center organised at Telugu and Urdu government school, Vemukunta in Chandanagar division on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, she said that Kanti Velugu, a program initiated by caretaker CM KCR with an aim to reduce eye related problems, has been getting tremendous response from people. 

As part of the program, apart from providing free eye tests, treatment and surgeries if necessary, medicines and eye glasses are also given free of cost, she said. Poor and middle class people of Vemukunta are coming forward to undergo free tests and are thanking government for the kind act, she said. She appealed principles of schools to ensure that all the students undergo free eye tests at the center. Among those present on the occasion were school principal Manikyam, Pochaiah, Mukherji and others.
