EVMs, Voter verifiable paper audit trails inspected

Karimnagar: Representatives of various political parties here on Friday inspected the EVMs and Voter verifiable paper audit trails (VVPATs), according to District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed.  

The Collector along with the representatives of the various political parties inspected the EVMs which are deposited in the warehouse at the Collectorate here.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said the Election Commission had dispatched 1,350 control units along with 1,839 ballot units to the district. Mock polling will be conducted under the supervision of representatives of various political parties.

The District Joint Collector Shyam Prasad Lal, Assistant Collector Rajarshi Shah, District Revenue Officer Bikshu Naik, Project Director of MEMPA Pavan Kumar, Karimnagar Urban Tahsildar Srinivas and representatives of various political parties were present.
