Minority girl students get new hostel with all basic facilities

Nacharam: Telangana Minority Resident Girls School (TMRGS) is now getting a new hostel for students at Nacharam. There were no facilities in the previous building which was at Mallapur near the school, said principal Rajitha. She further added, “Due to lack of facilities in the hostel, students used to leave the school. The TMRGS authorities provided a new building for the hostel with all basic facilities. We are paying Rs 50,000 per month as maintenance of the building.”

“New hostel is for students of class VI to X, it has study rooms, followed by mess. There are 350 beds for the students and around 700 students can use the hostel, some of the students have already been shifted,” the principal said. Nazam a student said, “There were no facilities in our old hostel and the building was in a dilapidated condition. There was no water facility and power cuts in the night time was a daily affair.” 

Another student Salma said, “Due to lack of facilities we were unable to study in the hostel and students started vacating the hostels. About two weeks ago we have been shifted to the new building.” Kabeer, a parent said, “Whether it is a government building or a private building there are some facilities for the students so that it will not affect their studies.”
