Osmania University Vice-chancellor inaugurates free medical camp

Osmania University: Vice-chancellor Prof S Ramachandram inaugurated a free medical camp on Friday organised in technology development centre by the university foreign relations wing and college NSS unit in coordination with Star Hospital, Banjara Hills. Addressing the students, he stated that such camps would be useful for both students and teachers, besides non-teaching staff.

Dr Basil, director of the hospital, said the camp was conducted to mark the tenth anniversary. Blood sugar test, blood grouping, ECG and BMI were done at the camp, along with consultancy by doctors, physician, dietitian, nutritionist.

Among those present were Registrar Prof Ch Gopal Reddy, UFRO director Prof Sriram Venkatesh, NSS coordinator Prof Chandru Naik, college placement officer Prof. Umamaheswara Rao, Dr Sumanth, Dr Vasu, hospital international patient manager Uma, college NSS Programme Officer Dr Sivaramakrishna.
