Kodandaram justifies Telangana Jana Samiti joining grand alliance
Karimnagar: Songs will play a key role in motivating the people and they provide inspiration for any kind of movement, said the Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) founder president Prof Kodandaram here on Monday.
Speaking to the media at Konda Sathyalakshmi Gardens here, Prof Kodandaram said that dhoom dham programme was organised for the first time in Karimnagar. A song reflecting the culture and tradition of the region inspired the people to participate in the movement.
The purpose for which the Telangana state was formed was not achieved under the ruling of TRS party. Those, who created obstacles during Telangana movement, are now playing key role in TRS government. The people fought for separate statehood not just for a separate state but also for water, funds and jobs, he said.
Kodandram said the TJS would organise ‘Poru Yatra’ from October 4 from Medak to educate the people on the failures of the TRS government and how it betrayed the people. He said the TJS has decided to form part of the grand alliance to fulfil the aspirations of the people. TJS leaders Narahari Jagga Reddy, Mukkera Raju, Routhu Kanakaiah were present.
