Mahakutami parties are power hungry: Jagadish
Devarakonda (Nalgonda): Energy Minister G Jagadishwar Reddy stated that all Andhra parties, which maintained double standards during Telangana agitation, are power hungry and now have joined hands to defeat the TRS.
On Sunday, along with Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy he participated in the constituency level party workers meeting for mobilization of people for a huge public meeting of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to be held in Nalgonda on October 4. He also took part in Nalgonda constituency level preparatory meeting for mobilization of public to make CM KCR’s meeting a grand success.
Addressing the gathering, he said, the true colour of Congress was exposed by joining hands with Andhra-based TDP, which created obstructions to irrigation projects in the State. All parties of Mahakutami are intentionally trying to block the progress of the state with malicious intentions.
Congress, TDP and CPM, which created hurdles to Medigadda project are planning to obstruct Rythu Bandu scheme and distribution of sarees to women of the state on the eve of Bathukamma festival.
Devarkonda which was known as the most backward constituency till 2014, was developed drastically in the last four years, is now developed considerably. Progress of the constituency will be halted if voted to Congress, Telugu Desam and Communists.
Stating that as many as five reservoirs were constructed in Devarakonda constituency, he said barren lands in the state will be provided irrigation facility in the next five years to make them fertile.
In this meeting, Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukender Reddy, former Deverakonda MLA Ramavath Ravindra Kumar, ZPTCs, Market Committee chairmen, MPPs, MPTCs, Rythu Samanvaya Samithi president and other important leaders participated.
