Suryapet: Congress district secretary Patel Ramesh Reddy criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for IT raids on TPCC working president Revanth Reddy’s properties across the State. He questioned the government about its intention behind the raids before the elections.

Speaking to the media in Suryapet on Sunday, Ramesh Reddy questioned the State government over the progress of the case of slain gangster Nayeem and the recovered cash and assets after the gangster’s encounter.

The Congress leader alleged that the CM, with the help of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and official machinery, has been conducting IT raids on people’s leader Revanth Reddy. He asked the IT officials to disclose the details of the documents they seized during  raids carried in the last three days. He challenged the CM to reveal the details of illegal assets of Revanth Reddy.

Stating that the TRS leaders are shaking with the increasing craze of Revanth Reddy day-by-day, he opined that it is undemocratic and unfair on the part of the government  to terrify the Opposition leaders in the name of false cases and raids.

Ramesh warned TRS leader and  MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Minister Jagadish Reddy over baseless comments on Revanth Reddy and questioned Jagadish Reddy for his abnormal increase of assets in a short span of four years. Congress leaders A Ramesh, J Yellaiah, Shafiulla, Rahim Venkanna, Devender, Ramesh and others participated in the meeting.
