Voting awareness programme for disabled held

Sangareddy: District Collector, district electoral officer Hanumantha Rao attended voting awareness programme for disabled here on Sunday. The collector flagged off a rally with the disabled persons. He also administered oath with all of them. Speaking on the occasion he said that there are 10,000 persons in the district and everyone should vote. 

He also said that every polling booth will be equipped with a ramp, Braille facility, direct access to vote and an assistant. District panchayat officer Venkateswarlu, district welfare officer Mothi, youth welfare officer Ramchandraiah, disabled association president Bhikshapathi, members Praveen, Ramulu, Vijayalakshmi, Snehalatha were present.
