Telangana Govt filled over 32,000 posts- Finance Minister

 Hyderabad: Finance Minister Eatela Rajender on Tuesday said that the TRS government had filled up over 37,000 posts so far out of the 87,000 posts for which notifications were issued.

Addressing a press conference here at TRSLP office here, Eatela Rajender said that out of the 1,28,274 posts identified 1,02,217 posts were permitted to be filled. He said that the TRS government issues notifications for 87,346 posts and 32,681posts were filled so far and remaining posts were in the process.  He said that not only the government filled vacant posts, the other category employees were given job security by enhancing salaries. He agreed that the youth were unhappy but added the government can provide jobs to 3 to 4 Per cent people and remaining by the private sector and hence government was providing incentives to private industries for providing employment.

The Minister said that the government provided salaries as per the minimum wage Act.  He said that the salaries were increased to each and every class of employees. He said that the salary of junior assistant was Rs 8,400 but the TRS government increased it to Rs 15,000. Similarly the salary of junior lecturers was Rs 18030 and government increased it to Rs 37,100. He said that the government gave job security to about 5 Lakh employees including contract and out sourcing employees.
The Minister lived up to the expectations of the people and realised the dream of Telangana protagonists. "There is enough power in the State, the funds are being utilised in Telangana only and the employment promise was also being fulfilled l, " said Rajender.
