Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika releases Student Manifesto

Hyderabad: Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika (TVV) questioned the authorities and demanded free and common education system while releasing 'Student Manifesto' at Somajiguda. President of TVV, Maddileti said, “The TRS government didn’t accomplish the agenda mentioned in poll manifesto. Not even a single issue was taken up. Moreover, education is privatized by the authorities benefitting the interests of corporate sector. Government didn't take up the responsibility in filing cased of student deaths occurred in private institutions. Till date no action has been taken up.” 

In providing KG to PG free education. In the name of rationalisation and education has been taken away from the underprivileged and poorest of the poor children by shutting down government schools and colleges. General secretary TVV Menchu Sandeep said not a single teacher has been posted in 11 universities which played a crucial role in the Telangana Movement and also claimed to oppose the action of Central government in cancelling the UGC (University Grant Commission).

Krishna Prasad, organizing secretary of Telangana Save Education said that in coming elections student manifesto must be included in the political party manifestos. Finally, they appealed to the people to read the 'Student Manifesto' and question the political parties coming to seek votes in regard of free education and unemployment.
