KCR all set to take on Opposition at Nizamabad meet
Nizamabad: The first of the poll campaigns, christened as Praja Ashirwada Sabhalu, in combined district here at the Giriraj College Grounds to be addressed by Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday will in all probability witness pyrotechnics.
Although he launched the Praja Ashirwada Sabha ‘sentimentally’ at Husnabad in Siddipet district on September 7, KCR is to fire on all cylinders at the Nizamabad meeting tearing into Opposition ranks. KCR’s rather subdued attack against the Congress in Kongara Kalan and Husnabad triggered a debate that he had appeared a bit defensive in his speech.
KCR who is known for fireworks in his speeches apparently disappointed the rank and file of the party, it’s said. Against this backdrop and polls also around the corner, party cadres expect that he would go hammers and tongs in Nizamabad that it will also send a message to Rajya Sabha member Dharmapuri Srinivas who is likely to join the Congress next week.
Meanwhile, all the arrangements for the public meeting were in place with Nizamabad MP K Kavitha personally overseeing them. She along with Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy is leaving no stone unturned to make the meeting a huge success. The dais was planned to accommodate 100 people.
