Congress will contest from Musheerabad constituency, says Nagesh
Musheerabad: Convener of Congress party election planning committee, Naresh Mudhiraj said that Congress would be contesting from Musheerabad constituency on behalf of Mahakutami alliance. He was participating in ‘intintiki Congress’ election campaign at Nehrunagar in Baghlingampalli. He hoisted the party flag and paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi. Speaking on the occasion, he said that in the four years of TRS-rule development of the constituency has slowed down. He alleged that the corporators of the ruling parties were indulging in corruption.
In the past, KTR toured the constituency along with former MLA Lakshman and promised developmental activities worth crores of rupees, but has not taken up a single project, he alleged. He demanded a white paper on the number of development activities initiated in the constituency. He criticized TRS for not even completing nala works in Musheerabad. He also criticized BJP for causing a lot of inconvenience due to demonetization and introduction of GST.
