Inter-state burglar arrested, 25 tola gold jewelry recovered

Khammam: The Central Crime Station (CCS) police along with Khammam Rural Police arrested a burglar and recovered property worth Rs7,12,500 lakh from his possession.

The Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal produced accused before the media here on Wednesday. The recovered property included 25 tola gold ornaments. Disclosing the details, Tafseer Iqbal said that they had arrested Nallabotula Suresh (28), son of Parameshwar Rao resident of Kamavarapukota village Tadikalapudi mandal of West Godavari district.

Following a tip off, the  ACP, CCS T Eshwaraiah and CI Thirupathi Reddy Khammam Rural Police conducted vehicle inspection at Kodada Cross road area which falls under Khammam rural police station limits, the police nabbed N Suresh while he was seen moving suspiciously.

The CP said that N Suresh was involved in about 6 theft cases under Khammam police commissionerate limits and he had also sent to jail previously for indulging in about 30 theft cases under the limits of various police stations in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.

The Police Commissioner appreciated the CCS and Khammam Rural Police personnel for nabbing the thief and recovering the property. The police team which nabbed N Suresh included Sub-inspector B Anand Rao, head constables BV Ramana, Ch Ravi, SK Latheef, SK Khalid, constables K Srinivas and K Kiran Gandhi.
