Candidates shake a leg with artistes at TRS meet
Nalgonda: TRS Praja Ashirwadha Sabha held in Congress stronghold Nalgonda district served its purpose. Spectators clapped when KCR explained the injustice done to the fluoride-affected Nalgonda district by Congress and TDP rules and leaders of the district in united Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s one and half hours power packed speech filled confidence in pink party leaders and cadre.
Before the arrival of TRS chief KCR, party candidates themselves introduced to the people and TRS MLAs of dissolved Assembly explained the progress of their constituencies in last four years three months and urged the people to bless them once again to pave standard development in the respective constituencies.
Songs and dance by artists highlighting the Telangana ideology, agitation and TRS government welfare and development activities stole the show. Party MLA candidates also shake their legs with the artistes. Large number of party workers of Nalgonda and neighboring Munugodu and Nakrekal constituencies reached the meeting place with bike rallies.
Few hardcore fans of KCR ignoring the hazardous climbed palm trees located in the ground to see their leader without any disturbance. Hundreds of hawkers of peanuts and mobile ice cream vehicles make money during the meeting.
The 15 acres meeting place at Marriguda bypass in the town was packed with around three lakh people. District police made elaborative arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents during the meeting. Police top officials Stephen Ravindra , Prabhakar Rao monitored the security arrangements. TRS leaders of erstwhile Nalgonda district expressed pleasure over grand success of TRS Praja Ashirwadha Sabha in Nalgonda.
