The main Opposition party in Telangana State Congress party raised curtains to the election campaign today from Alampur. It had blown election war cone here. First, the leaders had a darshan of Gadwala Jogulamba Ammavaru and organized a roadshow. On the occasion, AICC official spokesperson S Jaipal Reddy retorted on the allegations made by caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Nizamabad public meeting on Wednesday saying that KCR has no eligibility to criticize him.
Terming KCR as Telangana betrayer, Jaipal Reddy alleged that the former failed to fulfill the assurances made during last elections. KCR will join hands after the elections, he predicted.
TPCC Campaign Committee chairman Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has said that the party took the blessings of the Jogulamba Ammavaru for the development of Telangana state. He said that he prayed Ammavaru to reach the water, funds, and jobs to the people fully. He said that fear started in KCR while seeing the public response to the Congress party. He assured that the Congress party will abolish the CPS system as Congress party was coming to power in the coming elections. Another senior leader T Jeevan Reddy alleged that he has thrown all his assurances in the dustbin.
