Congress will win 10 seats in district: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy
Nalgonda: Senior Congress leader and former Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy mocked at caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and said people of the Nalgonda district are clever enough and will not support TRS, which ignored development in the district in its four year rule.
Addressing the media on Friday, he questioned TRS supremo KCR over his promise of completing SLBC tunnel project and its present status. Stating that he had sat on a hunger strike on the fluoride issue, he said the TRS government never paid attention to the problem in its tenure.
He said that the Congress party is against setting up of polluting thermal power plant in Miryalguda and added that in the interest of the district, it will be halted when the Congress party comes to power in the State.
He alleged that KCR and his family members got Rs 30,000 crores as kickbacks in the name of construction of Kaleshwaram Project. Stating that the TRS ignored women, he said KCR not inducted a single woman in his Cabinet but shedding crocodile tears on halting of distribution of Batukamma sarees by the Election Commission.
He exuded confidence that Congress will win 10 out of 12 Assembly seats in rrstwhile Nalgonda district. He mocked at TRS MLA candidates in erstwhile Nalgonda district and described them as robbers and history sheets.
