Cops sensitise public on wearing helmet

 Dilsukhnagar: A leading cause of deaths in two-wheeler accidents is not wearing helmets and consequent loss of blood due to injuries to head. In order to create awareness on the importance of helmet, the LB Nagar police conducted an awareness drive at Chaitanyapuri on Friday.

Traffic Inspector Anjapalli Nagamallu observed that fatal injury to head is the most important cause of fatality. To drive the point home, the police distributed eggs to those riding two-wheelers without wearing helmets, indicating the how fragile the most critical part of the body is. Police personnel Bayanna, Raju, Venkatesh, Kumara Swamy, Yadaiah and others took active part in the programme.
