Kind gesture to orphan girls

Sangareddy: Carped organisation in association with Sri Lakshminarayana Welfare Society distributed new cloths to the orphan girls who are studying in Karthurba Gandhi Schools in Sangareddy district. It is learnt that 74 orphans are studying in the schools. Director of Sri Lakshminarayana Welfare Society Dr Shilpa Alluru, girl child development officer Madhuri along with Kavitha and Ahila visited schools at Pulkal, Kondapur and Sadasivpet and distributed new cloths in presence of principals. 

Kavitha in Kondapur, Indira in Pulkal, Manjula in Sadasivpet participated in the event. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Shilpa said that the new cloths were given to the poor girls on the occasion of Dasara festival. “We tried our best to make them happy,” she said. She added that they were also going to donate two sewing machines to the school at Pulkal.
