Last date for voter enrolment Nov 6

Karimnagar: Last date for enrolling names in voter list for MLC elections in the MLC elections to the Teachers’ and graduates’ constituency of Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar is November 6. The lections is scheduled to be held in March next year, District Election Officer and District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed here on Friday.

Speaking to the media at Collectorate conference hall here, the Collector said the notification would be issued.  The Collector said as the voter enrolment process has begun, the new voters of erstwhile four districts. who are eligible, can enrol their names in the voter list.

He said the new voters, who wish to enrol their names in the voter list, should fill the form number 18 and submit it to the Tahsildar or Revenue Divisional Officer concerned along with colour passport photograph and degree certificates attested by a gazetted officer.

For enrolling the names in the voter list of Teachers’ constituency elections, the teachers, who have three years’ experience of teaching in schools and in junior and degree colleges during 2012 to 2018, are eligible. 

The new voters are required to fill the form number 19 and submit it to the office concerned along with a colour passport photograph and the last date for enrolling their names is  November 6, said  the Collector.

Assistant Collector Rajarshi Shah, District Revenue Officer Bikshu Naik and the Director of the Information Department N Venkateshwar Rao were present.
