Scramble for Chevella Congress ticket

Chevella: Many Congress leaders of Chevella are raring to contest from the constituency. Among those leaders who are hoping for party ticket include Congress senior leader Venkat Swamy, K S Ratnam, who has recently shifted from TRS to the party hoping for ticket, and recently joined former Maoist Bheem Bharath. Shamshabad sarpanch Rachamalla Siddeswar and Pochaiah are also hopeful of the party seat. Many party seniors are in the race as it is hoped that Congress will contest the seat on behalf of ‘Mahakutami,’ a grand alliance of Congress, TDP and CPI.
