Congress misleading people on TRS government schemes: Talasani Srinivas Yadav

Update: 2018-10-07 05:30 IST

Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav slammed the Congress for trying to mislead people of the State about the TRS government's work in the last four years. He felt that the Congress and other parties in Mahakutami have gone restless seeing the huge public support to the TRS in Praja Ashirwaad meetings held in Nizamabad, Nalgonda and Wanaparthy this week.

Addressing media at Telangana Bhavan, he alleged that the Congress was trying to incite students and unemployed against the TRS party. “The Congress is speaking as though nothing was done in last four years. Are Congress leaders not getting 24 hours power in their homes. Are they not drinking water drawn from Mission Bhagiratha connections? Also, did they not receive Rythu Bandhu cheques. Congress is belittling communities by saying that sheep and cattle are being distributed by government,” Talasani asked.

He said that the TRS would get 100 plus seats in elections scheduled for December 7 in Telangana. The TRS is unfazed by Mahakutami or the BJP in forthcoming elections, he stated. “The Congress or the TDP is no match for the TRS. The dissent in Mahakutami will be out in the open once seats sharing is finalised," he said.
