Khammam:  The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) leaders on Monday observed the 51th death anniversary of Che Guevara by garlanding his portrait here at Sundarayya Bhavan in Khammam.

Speaking on the occasion, DYFI district secretary Shaik Basheeruddin said Che Guevara is the icon of entire youth across the world. He spent his entire life fighting for the justice. He gave a call to the youth to fight against the injustice wherever they come across.

At the age of 21, Che Guevara underwent a series of life changing experiences and shifted himself towards an armed struggle which he believed would ultimately lead to the liberation of his people and remained an enigmatic figure making him as iconic symbol for youth.

Taking Che Guevara as an inspiration, the unemployed youth must participate in the movement which would be taken up by the DYFI against both the State and Central governments which deceived the unemployed youth, he said.

DYFI leaders, P Nageshwar Rao, P Subba Rao, Yadagiri, Chiranjeevi, Srikanth, Shiva, Upendar, Raju, Nageshwar Rao, Prasad, Ravi, Suresh and Srinivas were present.
