Bathukamma celebrations held

 Parigi: Celebrations of Bathukamma festival were organised on a grand note, here at Saraswathi English Medium School, on Monday. On this occasion, the head master of the school explained significance of the festival, which is an exclusive festival for Telangana. 

Teachers brought different kinds of flowers and decorated ‘Bathukamma’ along with students. Teachers and students celebrated the festival by dancing and playing. Later, they immersed the Bathukamma in a tank. Head Master K Mallesh, T Santhu Singh, teachers and others were present.
