New alliance of Dalit bodies launch today
Musheerabad: National Coordinator for Dalitha Sangharshana Samithi (DSS) Nalla Radhakrishna said that all Dalit and Bahujan parties would unite and form an alliance in Telangana for the upcoming elections. Radhakrishna participated in a DSS meeting held at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram here on Monday. He said that the newly-formed alliance would contest in 50 constituencies.
The alliance would be named as ‘Bahujan Front’ and would be launched on October 9, the birth anniversary of social reformer Kanshi Ram. Urging Dalits to maintain unity, Radhakrishna said that the alliance would make sure that the Dalit votes would stay united. State President Venkateshwarulu, the South India chairman of DSS, G Vinod Kumar, also participated in the meeting.
