Shia, Sunni religious heads meet DCP Amber Kishore Jha

Hyderabad: Demanding stringent action against those responsible for provoking the religious groups in Yakutpura, which led to trouble on Saturday night, Sunni and Shia religious leaders met the south zone DCP, Amber Kishore Jha on Monday. 

They held the accused Brother Imran responsible for triggering trouble and demanded that he be brought to book, as he made derogatory remarks against the beliefs of Shia community. “Stringent action must be taken against Brother Imran and his associates and organisers,” they demanded.

The leaders also held that organisers of the gathering, the Masjid committee members may also be held liable and should be dealt with as per law. “All the participants and those persons who hired participants for the said unlawful assembly meeting should be booked jointly as they are responsible for disturbing law and order, peace and tranquility in the locality and they all should be punished,” they added.
