BLF leaders slam anti-people TRS
Jogipet: Bahujan Left Front (BLF) held a meeting at Venkateshwara Function Hall here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Tammineni Veerabhadram, the BLF convener, said that Congress, BJP and TRS had colluded to prevent BLF from coming to power in Telangana State. Despite 15 elections in independent India, the political leaders never cared for public issued but only bothered about looting public money, he said.
Powers that be never cared for the welfare of dalits, minorities and tribals, he said. He appealed the people of the constituency to elect their candidate Vijayalakshmi. The front convener Tukaram said that PM Narendra Modi was only interested in serving corporate interests and destroyed ICDS system.
He opined that the Rythu Bandhu scheme initiated by the state government is benefits only big farmers and he questioned why tenant farmers are not included in the scheme. BLF candidate also spoke on the occasion. Among those participated in the meeting include state CPI convener Baswaraj, CITU leaders C Ramulu, Manikyam, Mallesham, Sanjeeva Rao and party workers from various mandals of the district.
