200 Congress activists join TRS
Madhapur: As many as 200 Congress party workers joined TRS party in the presence of former MLA and TRS candidate Arekapudi Gandhi and TRS senior leader Srinivas Yadav at former MLA’s residence on Wednesday. Addressing the party workers who joined the party, Gandhi said that several people were coming forward to join the party as they were attracted by the various welfare and development schemes initiated by the TRS government.
He appealed to the party workers to ensure that the fruits of government scheme reach the poor people. He also urged the party activists to strive for strengthening the party and make coordinated efforts to ensure party victory. Congress activists who joined the party were Kondaiah Yadav, Balaswamy, Balaji, Dharmaiah, Roshi, and others.
Later, 20 Congress activists from Aditya Nagar in Hafizpetdivision also joined TRS party in the presence of former MLA Arekapudi Gandhi on Wednesday at his residence. Congress leaders Khaleel, Moosa, Mahboob, Hamid, Thayara Begum, Farooq, Usman, Khaja, Akthar, Salim, Shiva and others led by TRS senior leader Babu Miya met the TRS candidate and joined in TRS. A Gandhi welcomed them and asked them to strive hard for the party victory in the ensuing elections.
