Commissioner of Police Joel David asks Blue Colts to be on guard 24x7
Siddipet: A one-day training camp for patrolling and Blue Colts was organised at the Commissioner’s Office here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner of Police (CP) Joel David said that the staff of patrolling and blue colts should extend extra security to the public. “Whenever you receive a call to 100, rush to the spot immediately and also be alert for 24 hours a day,” he told them.
On the crowd management, he ordered that security be beefed up at crowded areas, so as to infuse a feeling of security in the public by become always visible to them. Directing the staff to ensure security, he called for keeping constant tabs on anti-social elements like rowdy sheeters. If any suspicious movement is found, use ‘facial recognition’ technology to identify the miscreants, he said.
Trainers from Sincroni Financial C V Ramana and Jyothi explained about acquiring soft skills. DSP Satyanarayana from Hyderabad described the duties of Blue Colts. Sidhartha explained about the use of technology. Additional DCP (Law and order) Narasimha Reddy was also present.
