Quthbullapur TDP cadres want ticket for party
Medchal: Quthbullapur TDP activists led by Burugu Bavi Hanmanth Rao, party in-charge of the constituency, met Telangana TDP president L Ramana on Thursday. They wanted clarification from the party president whether the seat has been allocated to Congress the party president as reported in a TV channel report. Ramana clarified to them that no such decision was taken yet. They opined that TDP was stronger than the Congress party and the party could easy win from the constituency.
The constituency has been a stronghold of the party ever since the former minister Devender Goud won from here, they said. They said that TRS could wrest the seat if Congress contests from the constituency. Responding to the party cadre, the state president assured them to speak with high command and come to a decision.
