Uttam’s letter drafted in Amaravati: TRS
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Thursday said that the letter written by Telangana Congress chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy was scripted in Amaravati. The party leaders said that the Congress leader did not answer single question raised by caretaker Minister Harish Rao.
Addressing a press conference here along with MLC M S Prabhakar, MLC Karne Prabhakar said that the TPCC chief has not answered a single question raised by Harish Rao and only read out the script from Amaravati. Uttam proved that the Congress party has become a slave to Telugu Desam Party.
The TRS leader alleged that with the letter of Uttam, it was now clear that the latter had no idea of distribution of river water. “A person who claims to have worked as a captain in army has no knowledge of rivers. There is an apex body to sort out differences if there are any between two States.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has opposed allocation of water to Telangana and Uttam Kumar Reddy is supporting him,” said Prabhakar. The TRS leader said that the Congress leaders were daydreaming of coming to power in Telangana. He said that the TRS was going to come to power once again by winning 100 seats in ensuing polls.
