MBT leaders accuse MIM of violating Code
Chandrayangutta: Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) has alleged that All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is violating the Election Code of Conduct. Syed Mustafa Mehmood, its general secretary, filed a complaint against the AIMIM party.
He wrote a letter to the returning officer of Chandrayan Gutta, Deputy Commissioner of Police of South zone, and all the station house officers (SHO), falling under the constituency, and demanded that they take immediate punitive action against the party and to book cases for using publicity material of lakhs of rupees in the form of banners, hoardings and decorated Kite symbols of AIMIM. GHMC has failed to remove the publicity material, making a mockery of the election code. It has become a law and order issue, Syed Mustafa Mehmood said in his letter.
