Defective machines creating problem at rashion shops

Khammam: Members of Khammam Corporation Civil Supplies Vigilance Committee on Tuesday alleged that people are facing lot of hardships for getting ration from fair price shops as the e-pass machines are not working properly for few days in many divisions of the city.

They submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Manager of Civil Supplies Department A Venkateshwarlu. Committee’s member Y Vikram alleged that because of defective machines, people face a lot of hardships standing in the lines waiting for their turn to come.

He demanded the government to take immediate steps for repairing the machines which are introduced to maintain transparency in distribution of ration through Public Distribution System.

Khammam Corporation Civil Supplies Vigilance Committee members B Venkat Kumar, K Guru Murthy and Ch Bhadram and others were present on the occasion.
