Rahul Gandhi to tour Khammam on Oct 27

Khammam: Congress president Rahul Gandhi likely to tour Khammam district on October 27 to galvanise the party cadre for the upcoming Assembly elections.

During his tour of Telangana, the Congress president will visit Warangal, Kodangal and Khammam and participate in public meetings after holding a meeting with the leaders of Kothagudem, Khammam, Mancherial and Mahabubabad districts in Khammam. It is to be noted that the ruling TRS party already started its election campaign and is leaving no stone unturned.

In view of that, the leaders of the Congress party are gearing up to start the political campaigning on grand note with the visit of AICC president Rahul Gandhi under the leadership of Chairman of the  Publicity Committee  Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and are making elaborate arrangements to mobilise the people for the public meeting.

Apart from Congress leaders, the representatives of the alliance partners—the TDP, TJS and CPI-- are expected to share the dais with Rahul Gandhi at the public meeting. Before the Congress president‘s tour, Mahakutami may announce the candidates for all the constituencies in the erstwhile Khammam district.

The Congress party in Khammam performed well in the previous assembly elections after the visit of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi to the district and the same is going to be repeated with the visit of AICC president Rahul Gandhi, observed by Congress leaders.
