Tank Bund basks in Bathukamma glory

Hyderabad: As part of development of Bathukamma as a major tourist attraction, the State Tourism department organised laser show on Bathukamma festivities and women played  traditional dance forms of Bathukamma at Tank Bund recently and it would be presented till Thursday. 

The laser lights dancing to the tunes of music along with a narrator evinced the history, the myth and the importance of a variety of local flowers used during Bathkumma festival.

Unique ways of laser lights were used for explaining the story of Bathkumma festival.

According to Telangana Tourism officials, the entire Tank Bund was highlighted with colourful lights, flowers and LED screens were set up, projecting the Bathukamma festival celebrations.
