Low lying areas inundated in Malkajgiri

 Malkajgiri: The sudden heavy showers for a few hours inundated many low-lying areas causing inconvenience to the motorists and pedestrians in Malkajgiri on Tuesday. 

Sewage canal carrying excess water from Bandapalli tank inundated Shiridi Nagar, East Anandbagh and Sathireddy Nagar colonies with the nalas getting flooded after the rains. JLS Murthy, a resident of Shiridi Nagar requested the authorities concerned to respond to the situation and find a permanent solution to prevent frequent inundation of low-lying colonies.
