Protest against suspension of MLC Naik
Khammam: Lambadi Hakkula Porata Samiti (LHPS) has condemned the suspension of TRS MLC Ramulu Naik and called it unconstitutional. The representatives of the LHPS on Wednesday staged dharna at the Abmedkar statue in the city and raised slogan against the TRS party’s decision.
LHPS’s district president Bhadru Naik said that the TRS suspended the MLC without giving serving him any show cause notice. He further added that unable to digest the questions raised by MLC Ramulu Naik about the rights, betterment and development of tribal people, the TRS party undemocratically suspended the tribal leader Ramulu Naik.
Ramulu Naik was suspended from the party for questioning the government about the promises of 3 acres of land and allotment of 2BHK houses to tribal people and assurances that were made to tribal people before going to the Assembly elections in 2014, he pointed out.
The TRS party insulted all the people belonging to tribal community by suspending Ramulu Naik who is fighting for the rights for tribals. The people are watching the every move and discrimination that is shown against the tribals and are ready to teach fitting lesson in upcoming elections, he warned.
