Student donates prize money for candidate’s campaign

Mahabubnagar: A ninth class girl student Mulla Shabana has donated her Rs 2,000 prize money which she had won in an essay writing competition to former MLA Srinivas Goud, the nominee of TRS from Mahbubnagar towards his election campaig on Wednesday. 

Shabana while speaking to the media said that she had seen Srinivas Goud as the first MLA of Mahbubnagar who had mingled with people and seen at every small programme in the district. “Our MLA sahib is the first MLA I have seen who mingles with people the most.

He has done many important development activities in the district. Most important of them are establishing the Government Medical College, laying of by-pass road and developing the Mayuri Park, which is attracting large number of tourists to the district,” said Shabana. 

She also highlighted some of the schemes launched by the government like Shaadi Mubarak, Minority Gurukula schools; the TRS leaders fight to get 12 per cent reservations for minorities has really attracted her. And therefore, she wanted to donate her prize money to MLA to help him for his election campaigning.
