Huge crowds attend Ravan Dahan

Vikarabad: The ‘Ravan Dahan’ programme was organised at Jammigadda Grounds at Alampalli here on Friday. Lord Ananatha Padmanabha Swamy reached Jimmigadda midst Dasara celebrations. People from the town and surrounding areas thronged the event in large numbers and had darshan of the Lord and offered special prayers. 

Later, the grand procession of the Lord was taken up to the Jimmigadda grounds. As soon as the Lord reached there, prayers were offered to the Lord and to the Jammi tree, followed by Ravan dahan. MP Konda Vishweswar Reddy along with his family, former MLA Sanjeeva Rao, Municipal Chairman Satyanarayana, leaders from various parties participated in the event and conveyed wishes to the people.
