Farmers protest reduced milk procurement rate

Aler (Yadadri- Bhongir): Dairy farmers expressing their protest against the reducing the milk procurement rate staged huge Dharna  on Hyderbad- Warangal high way  near Ralaway gate on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the dairy farmers expressed their concern over decrease in milk procurement rate and demanded the government to roll back the decision in the interest of farmers.

Stating, feeding cost has been increasing from time to time, they demanded to control the milk coming from other states. They raised objections over the government‘s  decision of reducing the milk procurement rate due to increased milk production.

On information, former Minister and BLF MLA candidate from Aler M Narasimhulu rushed to the protest spot and demanded the government to roll back the decision and save the dairy farmers from increasing overheads and other problems.

A aarge number of vehicles were piled up to  2 kms due to the dairy farmers dharna. The protestors withdrew their agitation on the intervention of the police.
