Heavy rush for darshan at Bhadradri temple on last day of holidays
Bhadrachalam: On the last day of Dasara holidays, the Lord Rama temple witnessed heavy rush of devotees on Sunday. Devotees from various places and neighbouring states thronged the shrine for darshan of Lord Rama. On Saturday also there was a huge rush of devotees at the temple.
In the early hours of the day the temple roads were crowed with devotees and papikondalu tourists. Many devotees arrived early in the day at the temple and had darshan of Lord Rama and went back to their respective homes.
The priest conducted special abhishekam to Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana in the main temple. After that a special puja was conducted by the priests in the temple. The devotees waited in queues for the free darshan of the deities which took minimum three hours.
Due to the heavy rush the temple authorities made separate queues for the darshan of Lord Rama. Prasadam counters were arranged on the temple premises also. A large number of couple devotees participated in Nithya Kalyanam programme at Beda Mandapam.
The devotees also had darshans of Goddess Lakshmi Amavaru and Lord Anjaneyaswamy. Some of the devotees went to Papikondalu tourism spot after the darshan.
