Lions Club & NGO felicitate cops

##BIG-IMAGE#Sanathnagar: Members of Lions Club of Sanathnagar and Lord Welfare Organisation on Monday felicitated some police personnel to mark the Police Commemoration Day, in coordination with GHMC staff. They organised sugar tests for the sanitation staff and distributed medicines. The members also provided free breakfast to the poor. Members of the club, Dr Lion Peri Venkataramana, Lion Doctors V Sudhakar and Nagendra Pratap, GHMC Doctor Mahipal Reddy were the chief guests. 

Addressing the gathering, Lion Dr K Suresh Kumar, president of the organisation, lauded the police for their role in society, while paying tributes to the department martyrs. He offered suggestions for preventing spread of dengue fever, while pledging services of the Lions Club to society at all times. Those present included staff of Alavi Hospital, sanitation staff Sampath, Ramakrishna, Suresh, Arun.
