Implement Mission Indradhanush perfectly

Sircilla: District Joint Collector Shaik Yasmeen Basha directed the officials concerned to prepare action plan for the perfect implementation of immunisation programme ‘Mission Indradhanush’ in the district.

She chaired a meeting organised by Medical and Health Department under the leadership of DM&HO Dr Maruthi Rao with the representatives of district coordination committee, Lions Club and Manair voluntary organisation here at Podupu Bhavan on Tuesday.

Speaking at the meeting, the Joint Collector said that there are 14,000 girls in the age group of 10 -16 years across the district and directed the officials concerned to take necessary steps for implementing the immunisation programme successfully in coordination with various other departments.

The officials were told to identify the target groups, prepare an action plan involving ANMs, Asha workers, DRDA women groups, ICDS and NGO organisations for implementing Mission Indradhanush programme perfectly in the district along with developing proper proforma to identify Leprosy, TB, Adolescent Anaemia patients.

RBSK coordinator Dr Mahesh Rao urged the officials to work in coordination with each other for conducting the immunisation programme perfectly in which free Hb tests will be conducted along with distributing tablets free.

Deputy DM&HO Anand Bhaskar, Dr Suman Mohan Rao, Dr Sriramulu, HE Venkatesham, CHO Srinivas Rao and Chintoji Bhaskar were present along with others.
