Kishan forecasts Congress win

Mahbubnagar: Congress leader Katta Ravi Kishan took strong exceptions to the claims of TRS party leaders in Mahabubnagar that they will win with a thumping majority of 54.44 per cent vote share in the district. 

Taking a dig at caretaker Health Minister Dr C. Laxma Reddy’s recent claim that all survey reports are indicating a thumping victory of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party (TRS) leaders in the next elections as false, Katta Ravi questioned the TRS leaders during a press conference on Tuesday, as to what have they done for the people of Palamuru in the past 4.5 years.

“Why should people vote for these leaders? Is it because Laxma Reddy took away 10 per cent government land in Tirumala hills by laying unauthorised layouts, is it because he had illegally handed over government land in Gandamma kunta to his followers or is it because all medical shops in government hospitals being given to his associates. Dr. Laxma Reddy during past 4 years has done nothing for the people of his constituency, instead reaped crores of rupees as commission,” alleged Katta.

He further alleged that Dr. C. Laxma Reddy, using his office has handed over the Medical shops at government hospitals to his close associates.  Taking a jibe at Mahabubnagar MLA Srinivas Goud, the Municipal floor leader said that the MLA had forcefully taken away the Municipal chairman’s post by threatening the congress party councillors and letting them join into TRS party illegally.

He also said that the TRS leaders in the name of development had before hand resorted to real-estate businesses in and around areas of outer by-pass road and the new collectorate building as they already knew that these projects are going to come in the proposed areas. 

Katta also fired against Ala Venkateshwar Reddy, TRS MLA from Devarkadra for his alleged black marketing and illegal transportation of sand through sand mafia. He also did not spare Deputy CM Mahamood Ali and alleged him to be encourager of Wakf board land encroachments and termed him as inefficient land and revenue minister.

“Mahamood Ali being a revenue minister could not do anything to protect Wakf lands in survey numbers 77 and 78 and could not assure confidence to the minorities. He also did not take any action against an officer working in his department linked with the MBC minority land fraud,” said Katta while taking Dy. CM. 

Katta predicted that the coming days are of congress party and very soon people will teach a befitting lession to the TRS leaders. He said once the final list of candidates of congress and Mahakutami are revealed, the congress will take on heavily on TRS and reveal all the truths to the people regarding TRS leaders misrule during the 4 years.
