Newly-wed woman ends life

Hyderabad: A 19-year-old newly-wed woman hanged self at Defence Colony, Langar Houz on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as E Lavanya. 

She was married to E Mahesh, who hails from Vikarabad, three months ago. “It was a love marriage,” police said. Station House Officer Ch Srinivas registered a case. 

The body was shifted to Osmania mortuary for post-mortem. Police suspected that incompatibility could be the reason for suicide. 

“We have registered  a case against Mahesh and his parents under Section 304 and  the investigation is underway,” said police.
