Rs 1 lakh grant to SHGs if Congress voted to power

LB Nagar: Congress constituency in-charge Devireddy Sudheer Reddy conducted door-to-door campaign on Tuesday. He interacted with residents and assured them to provide Rs 1 lakh grant to each self-help group (SHG) if Congress is voted to power.

Sudheer Reddy also assured Rs 10 lakh loan to each self-help group without interest, and accident insurance coverage of Rs 5 lakh to each group member. Establishment of junior college in Nagole division, construction of trunk line to protect low-lying areas from inundation, CCTV cameras in each colony and house sites to eligible in Erukala Nancharamma Basti were also among the promises made to the residents.

Sudheer Reddy campaigned at Mamatha Nagar, Cooperative Colony, Sai Nagar, Sri Ganeshnagar, Arunodaya Colony, Nagole old village, Lalitha Nagar, Venkat Reddy Nagar, BK Reddy Nagar, Venkata Ramana Colony, Environ Towers, Sai Ramnagar, Adarsh Nagar in Nagole division.

Leaders Ananthula Raji Reddy, Chandrashekar Azad, Chiranjeevi, Baddam Narender Goud, Sridhar Goud, Lokesh Reddy, Srikanth, Ranjith, Krishna Goud, Bhaskar Yadav, Ranjith Reddy and Balakrishna Yadav were also present in the campaign.
